Obituary for Thomas Edward “Tom” Brosh Thomas Edward “Tom” Brosh, 89, of Mt. Pleasant passed away peacefully on Aug. 25, 2018 at the Woodcrest Senior Living, Scottdale. He was born Aug. 6, 1929 in Mt. Pleasant Twp.a son of the late Charles and Rose Beran Brosh. Tom was a graduate of the former Hurst High School. Prior to his retirement he worked as a Machinist for MVI in Jeannette. He was a Veteran of the Korean War having served in the U.S. Army. He was a Founding Member of the Mt. Carmel Community Church in Prittstown. He loved working on mechanical things and there was nothing that he could not fix. Tom will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his loving wife of 64 years Gladys L. Pritts Brosh, his daughter Robin Mowry and husband Don of Inverness, IL., his grandchildren Kyler Mowry and wife Emily of Elk Grove Village, IL., and Kaitlin Mowry of Inverness, IL., his brothers Richard Brosh and wife Loretta of Mt. Pleasant and Charles Brosh of Manassas, VA., and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Tom was predeceased by a brother William C. Brosh and a sister Genevieve Brosh. Family and friends will be received Mon. from 6-9 PM in the Brooks Funeral Home Inc., 406 E. Washington St., Mt. Pleasant (724-547-3800). Additional viewing will be held Tues. from 9:30 – 10:30 AM, the hour of a Funeral Service, in the Mt. Carmel Community Church, 1231 Mt. Pleasant Rd., Mt. Pleasant, PA. 15666, with Pastor Rick Fox officiating. A committal service and interment will follow at the graveside at Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville.
