On Wednesday, August 15, 2018, Terry Elaine Felcman of Rosenberg, TX, passed away at the age of 68 after a brief illness. Terry was born on October 10, 1949 in Raceland, LA to Billie and Earlene (Isham) Mitchell. She graduated from Lamar Consolidated High School in 1968 and began her working career at the Freeport News. While she had many jobs over the years, she found her true calling working with autistic children and young adults, and later as a caregiver. Terry was well known for her love… Read More » of animals (especially elephants), excellent cooking, selfless nature, and vibrant red hair. She had an infectious laugh and smile and a delightful sense of humor. Even when she was having a bad day, she managed to lift the spirit of others. Terry is survived by her niece, Fawn and Chad Preuss and their children; her nephew, Troy and Jennifer Terry and their children; her brother-in-law, Scott Kirkham; and numerous other extended family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her beloved son, David Paul Jackson; baby sister, Billie Ruth Kirkham; and parents, Billie and Earlene Mitchell. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Baker Funeral Home in West Columbia, TX. “Those we love can never be more than a thought away, for as long as there’s a memory they live in our hearts to stay.”
