Obituary for Teresa Harper McKinney Rogersville- Teresa Harper McKinney went home to be with Jesus peacefully on January 30, 2018 finally succumbing to injuries received from an automobile accident. Teresa had been a resident of Hawkins County for most of her life. She was a member of Hope Baptist Church and enjoyed reading, especially her Bible which even today is open to the pages she was studying. She was a loving mother and daughter and will be missed greatly. She was preceded in death by her brother, Douglas Harper, Jr. and her son Joseph Parmer. She is survived by her parents Douglas and Jannie Harper; son, Jason Parmer and wife Sandy; grandchildren Logan Guy Parmer, Jason Guy Parmer, Christie L. Parmer and Stacy Clair along with several aunts, uncles and cousins. There were no formal services and burial was private.
