Tamara Lynn Janson, 64, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on July 22, 2018 in Centennial, CO. She and her twin sister, Pam, were born May 23, 1954 to William and Helen Cowley in Crosby, ND. In 1959 the Cowley’s moved to California, then Littleton, CO ten years later where Tammy graduated from Arapahoe High School with the Class of 1972. Tammy was the devoted wife of James (Jim) Janson, Sr. for nearly 50 years. She will forever be remember by her loving children and their spouses, James Jr. and Bridget Janson of University Place, WA, and Marie and Anthony Scott of Aurora, CO; as well as her treasured grandchildren, Ethan and Evan Janson, and Aubrey Scott. Tammy is also survived by her mother, Helen Cowley of Englewood, CO; sisters and in-laws Pam and Doc Holiday of Lithonia, GA, and Lori and Mark Harvey of Englewood, CO; along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know her. She was preceded in death by her father William Cowley, and brother Scott Cowley. Tammy touched the lives of many with her contagious smile, laughter that filled the room and through her selfless service at the food bank and Ladies Auxiliary of St. Mary’s Catholic Parish. Rosary will begin at 10:00 AM and Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM on Friday, August 3, 2018 at St. Mary’s Catholic Parish, 6853 S. Prince St., Littleton, CO 80120. Reception to follow.
