Steve Edward Stephens age 69 of Heber Springs, Arkansas passed away at his residence July 30, 2018. He was born January 29, 1949 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late R. E. Stephens and Billie Emison Stephens. He was a U. S. Army Veteran serving for 5 1/2 years. He was of the Catholic faith . Steve was employed as a fireman in Little Rock, Arkansas for 31 years before his retirement. Steve hobbies included hunting, fishing, golfing and traveling. He is survived by his wife Jeanette Kocourek Stephens; one son, Russell Stephens of Sherwood, Arkansas; two daughters; mother, Billie Emison Stephens; three grandchildren and many friends. No services are planned at this time.
