OBITUARY Stanley Chrapowitzky April 24, 1948 – August 3, 2018 CHRAPOWITZKY, Stanley J. 70, Carolina Beach, NC Stanley passed away peacefully at home in Carolina Beach, NC on August 3, 2018. He was born in Ossining, New York and in 1996 relocated to North Carolina. Stanley is pre-deceased by his wife Mae H. Chrapowitzky (2010). He faithfully served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was awarded two Purple Hearts during his time in Vietnam. Survivors include his wife Barbara (Faulkner) Chrapowitzky of Carolina Beach, NC, sister Ginger Jennings (John) of Supply, NC, brothers Richard Chrapowitzky (Sharon) of Ossining, NY, John Chrapowitzky (Linda) of Beacon, NY, Thomas Chrapowitzky (Linda) of Cross River, NY. Survived also by daughters Mandy Esposito (Jack) of Conway, SC, Kimberly Peters of Sherman, TX, Charlene Duncan (Marty) of Ocean Isle Beach, NC, Ginger DeStefano of NY, and sons Steven Chrapowitzky (Lisa) of Wappingers Falls, NY, James Murphy (Debbie) of Saegertown, PA, Robert J. Lammerding (Sherri) of Merritt Island, FL, Michael J. Lammerding (Andrea) of Hatfield, PA, and William J. Lammerding of Cypress, TX. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral & Cremation Service, 3915 Oleander Drive, Wilmington, NC on August 9th Thursday 4pm-7pm. Final visitation August 10th at 10am followed by an 11am funeral service at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral & Cremation Service. Interment will follow at Cape Fear Memorial Park, 4763 Southport-Supply Road, Southport, NC 28461.
