Sheryl Fuller Dickey 2018

DICKEY—Sheryl Fuller Dickey (“Mamaw”), 70, of Jacksonville, FL passed away peacefully on August 22, 2018. She was born on January 15, 1948 in Tyler, TX to Raiford Fuller and the late Claudia Fuller. She spent most of her life in the Jacksonville, FL area where she worked as a neo-natal nurse. Throughout her life, she faithfully devoted herself to caring for others. She spent years insuring her two sons grew up in an environment where they could thrive and excel. She spent many years caring for her late husband Jim Dickey, and always made sure her father Raiford was well taken care of. These great accomplishments, along with the pride she had for her five grandchildren, would certainly be the highlights of her life. She will be lovingly remembered for her unparalleled craft supply, love of her Bubba mugs full of Diet Dr. Pepper, and her fondness for NCIS’s Jethro Gibbs. She is survived by her father, Raiford Fuller; sons Loren Nordin (Susan) and Jason Nordin (Melissa); brothers Bill Fuller and Charles Fuller, and her most cherished grandchildren Jordan, Rhys, Keris, Devin, and Payton. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at Jacksonville Memory Gardens, 111 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park, FL 32073. The family will receive friends from 10:00am until service time. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) at www.sheryldickey.com in Sheryl’s memory.
