Obituary for Sharon Mowbray Sharon Ann Mowbray, resident of Sterling Heights, died peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on August 25, 2018. She was 58 years of age. She fought a courageous battle and has won victory with her Lord and Savior. Sharon was born on December 31, 1959 in Detroit, Michigan, a beautiful daughter of Edward and Darlene (Korleski) Ziolkowski. Sharon was blessed with two wonderful sons of whom she loved and cherished. She was very active in their lives and for many years was their Assistant Scout Master. Sharon was strong and determined; and she put herself through college and became a Project Manager for the Automotive Industry. She was united in marriage to her best friend, James Charles Mowbray, on April 26, 2014 at the Grosse Pointe Academy with Father Joseph Gembala officiating. She was a member, alongside her husband, of the Northstar Sail Club for many years. Sharon loved adventure and enjoyed all of her traveling throughout the years. She was a master gardener and was a member of the Daylily Society. Sharon will always be known for her beautiful smile and infectious laught that would light up the room, her heart of gold and her personality that was larger than life. She will be deeply missed and her light will always continue to glow in our hearts forever. Sharon is the beloved wife of James; cherished mother of Adam and Justin O’Donnell; dearest daughter of Darlene and the late Edward Ziolkowski; and loving sister of Pam (Dave) Shadik, Patty (Joe) Parks and the late Edward Ziolkowski. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2pm – 8pm at Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home, 32814 Utica Road, Fraser. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 11am at St. Malachy Catholic Church of Sterling Heights with Father Joseph Gembala officiating. Additional visitation will start at 10:30am at church.
