Obituary for Sharon Adcock (Megill) Sharon A. Adcock, 72 of Wall Township was born August 26, 1945 and passed away on August 13, 2018 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. After many years of battling with various health issues Sharon left this world peacefully with her devoted and loving husband and children by her side. She was an active member of the West Belmar United Methodist Church, UMW Ministry and retired from Wall Township school system. Sharon loved to spend time with family and friends. In addition to people her canine companions, which were many, over the years brought her much joy. Sharon was predeceased by her parents Howard and Anna Megill, her sister Virginia Algor and her in-laws Porter and Virginia Adcock. She is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years Porter Adcock, Jr. of Wall; her loving children Christine and Richard Gunther, Denise and Ed Treadaway and Janet and Chris Schmiedl; her cherished grandchildren Rick (Gianine), Kylie (Garett), Ian, Edmund (Sarah), Tiffany, CJ and Haley; her treasured great grandchildren Mackenzie and Landyn. Sharon is also survived by a brother-in-law Ron (Dorothy) Adcock; sister-in-law Barbara Bawden and many adored nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Sharon’s life, with us, by attending her memorial service 12 noon on Sunday August 26, 2018 at West Belmar United Methodist Church 1000 17th Avenue Wall, NJ 07719.
