OBITUARY Samuel Emery Vangor September 4, 1931 – July 16, 2018 Samuel Emery “Sam” Vangor, 86, of Ann Arbor, passed away Monday, July 16, 2018 at the home of his daughter surrounded by his loving family. Sam retired from Chrysler Corporation and was a U.S. Army Veteran. Mr. Vangor is survived by his four daughters, Bonnie Chase, Vicki (Rob) Wagner, Deb (Jeff) Frank, and Terrie (Mike) Gillenwaters, sister Marilyn (Bob) Frick, 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 2 nieces and a nephew. Pre-deceased by his wives Lorraine and Dorothy and brother, Luther George Vangor. Friends may visit at Muehlig Funeral Chapel, 403 South Fourth Avenue, Ann Arbor on Thursday, July 19 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Burial at Bethlehem Cemetery will follow with military honors under the auspices of the Veterans Honor Guard of Washtenaw County. Friends wishing to make a memorial in Sam’s memory may donate to Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org) 225 North Michigan Avenue, Floor 17, Chicago, Illinois 60601.
