Sally Lee McNutt, age 99, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Thursday, August 02, 2018 at NHC Healthcare of Scott in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of Wayne County, TN, a homemaker, and a member of Deerfield Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Dora Hill Phillips; her husband, Martin “M.L.” McNutt, Jr.; three brothers, Taylor Phillips, Conrad Phillips, and Woodfin Phillips; three sisters, Edith Daniel, Elizabeth Galloway and Ruby Staggs; and one great-grandchild, Ryland Tice. She is survived by One Son – David McNutt (Bea), Lawrenceburg, TN One Daughter – Barbara McNutt, Lawrenceburg, TN Four Grandchildren – Brent McNutt (Lanette) Jason McNutt Jonathan McNutt (Chris) Hayley Payne (Jason) Ten Great-Grandchildren Several Nieces and Nephews Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM Sunday, August 05, 2018 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 4:00 PM Sunday, August 05, 2018, with David Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.
