Obituary of Robert Palmer Robert Clayton Palmer, 41, of Winthrop Harbor, Illinois passed away August 1, 2018 at Vista East Hospital in Waukegan, Illinois. He was born March 31, 1977 to William and Carol Palmer. He attended and graduated from Zion-Benton Township High School in Zion, Illinois. Robert is survived by his mother, Carol Lynn Palmer; brother, Donald Palmer; sister, Deborah ( Dennis) Juul; nieces, Brittany (Alex), Maddie, and Madison; nephews, Dustin, Jordan, and Ethan; many friends that were his second family; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, William C. Palmer. Rob lost his long and hard fought battle with diabetes at the age of 41. He will be greatly missed by all that loved him. Rob loved to fish, spend time with his family and friends and he loved a Good party. He left this world saying he just tried to be a good man. “Life is but a short series of moments. Remember to let those that love you know often and make time for them because you may not get another tomorrow. Sometimes you never know the value of a moment, until it becomes a memory.” – Dr.Suess A Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday, August 11, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Service at 1:30 p.m. at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, Illinois 60099.
