Robert Ellison Pollard, (Bobby) (8/6/1950 – 8/25/2018) went home to be with the Lord on Saturday morning. He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 45 years, Dorothy; his daughter, Robin and son in law, Paul; and his son, Timothy and daughter in law, Kellie. His three grandsons, Andrew, Noah, and Mike also survive him. Bobby was also survived by his siblings, Larry, Judy, Charlie, Sharon, and Terry. He then moved to southern California in 1975 with Dorothy. He worked for Northrop Grumman for 15 years in security during the rollout and introduction of the B-2 Bomber. He also worked for Boeing for 2 years. He moved back to Indiana in 1999 and went to work for Community Hospital as a deputy sheriff. He retired in 2012. Bobby was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and grandfather who valued family above all. His greatest joy in life was to make others laugh and was definitely the center of attention in any room. He was a lifelong, diehard fan of the Los Angeles Rams. Bobby loved with his whole heart everyday of his life and we were all blessed to have him in ours. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2018 from 1:00 pm until the time of memorial at 3:00 pm at G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis.
