Obituary for Robert “Bob” Finn Finn, Robert “Bob” August 28, 2018 Age 92. Born April 20, 1926 in Providence, Rhode Island to the late Robert J. and Mary A. (Reardon) of County Kerry, Ireland. Beloved husband of Patricia (Eckler) Finn and the late Eileen (Sullivan) Finn. Loving father Susan (Dan) Caviston, Bob (Peggy) Finn, Patricia (Jim) Reese, Michael (Maria) Finn and Daniel Finn. Grandfather of Paul (Michelle) Caviston, Dennis (Margaret) Caviston, Jeff Caviston, Robert (Tricia) Finn, Caeli Finn, Heather(Alex) Mast, Ryan Finn, Moira Finn, J.P. (Renata) Reese, Christopher(Brittney) Reese, Michael (Kali) Finn, Jackie Finn and Melissa (Alix) Shiveley Great-grandfather of Grace, Hannah, Jack, Blake, Evelyn, Augustine, Audrey and Cooper. Dear brother of Daniel (Cathy) Finn and the late Katheleen Finn Moriarty. Step-father of David Eckler, Valerie (Vincent) Stackpoole, Mark (Colleen) Eckler, John (Pamela) Eckler, Brian (Janice) Eckler, Paul Eckler, Christopher (Donna) Eckler, Patrick Eckler and Mary (Brian) Lopus. Step-grandfather of 23 and step-father great grandfather of 9. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his dog, Sierra. Mr. Finn served his country in the Army Air Corps during WWII. Bob was a Detective/Sergeant for the Detroit Police Dept. and worked in Security for General Motors. He was a lieutenant in the Civil Air Patrol, and member of MANG Aero Club, LSDPOA, AOH, Knights of Columbus Council #14427, Dad’s Club at St. Eugene, Mercy High School and Catholic Central and Choir at Holy Family and Our Lady of Victory. Bob was a private pilot and enjoyed his catholic faith, his family, his heritage and his country. Visitation Friday, August 31, 2018 from 2-8 pm at the O’Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home 41555 Grand River Ave Novi 248 348 1800 with a rosary at 7pm. In-state 10 am Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church 133 Orchard Dr. Northville, until time of mass at 10:30am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield.
