Richard J. Shulak Jr. “Rick”, of Sheboygan, formerly of Racine, passed away unexpectedly Monday, July 30, 2018 while vacationing in Florida. He was 52 years old. Rick was born March 15, 1966 in Racine, the son of Richard Sr. and Judith (nee Strege) Shulak. He graduated from St. Catherines High School in Racine. Rick worked as a manager at Applebees for 20 years where he met the love of his life, Tara Pelzek. The two were united in marriage in Sheboygan on November 5, 2016. Most recently Rick… Read More » helped out at Sly’s Midtown Salooon and Grill alongside Tara. Rick was an avid fan of Star Trek, Star Wars and the Green Bay Packers. He loved the Beatles, and cherished time spent with his family. Rick is survived by his wife and the love of his life, Tara and four children: Courtland Shulak, Kallista Shulak, Brandie Warren and Aladin Warren. He is further survived one grandchild, Omera Warren, step-father Daryl Rowlands, father Richard Shulak, sister Rhonda Peyton, aunts and uncles Pamela (Tim) Mattes and Tim (Cindy) Strege, former wife and friend Roxanne Gosse-Shulak, step-brothers and sisters, brothers- and sister-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Rick is preceded in death by his mother, Judith Rowlands. A Celebration of Rick’s Life will be held at 4PM on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral and Cremation Care Center, 1201 N. 8th St. in Sheboygan. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00 – 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested.
