Obituary for Richard Dennis Gott Richard Dennis Gott, age 66 of Clare, passed away surrounded by his family on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at his home. Richard was born the son of Richard and Mary (Ferguson) Gott on March 14, 1952 in Clare. He was united in marriage to Bobette “Bobbie” Worth on April 2, 2011. Richard had worked in the Maintenance Department at Delfeld for 43 years. He was a member of the Clare Moose Lodge for 19 years. His hobbies included quading, hunting, traveling, farming, flea marketing, horses and camping. Richard enjoyed spending time with his family; they will cherish the times they shared together. Richard is survived by his wife of 7 years, Bobbie; his children Richard (Becky) of Farwell, John (Autumn) of Sand Lake, April (John) Lake of Clare, Sarah Casteel of Clare and Bianca (Cody) Tackett of Tennessee; his mother Mary Gott of Farwell; grandchildren Adam (Hannah), Krista (Logan), Lane, Olivia, Cody, Allison, Austin, Allison, Jacob, Dylan, Robert, Dustin, Kristina, Courtney, Skyler, Danny, Savanah and Maverick; great grandchildren Cooper, Kayden and Addy; his siblings Ruth Gott, Linda Peacock and Kitty (Ken) Boling. Also surviving are his mother-in-law Melva Jo (Amos) Hudson of AZ and sister and brother-in-laws Pam Pierce of Lake, Lynn Campbell of Shepherd and Mike (Penny) Worth of Lake as well as numerous other family and friends. Richard was predeceased by his father Richard. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 12, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. at the Clare Chapel of Stephenson-Wyman Funeral Home. Services will be held on August 13, 2018 at 11 A.M. at the Clare Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Jim Young officiating. Memorial contributions are suggested to MidMichigan Home Care and Hospice.
