Richard Daryl Klopp, 67, of Linden, died Friday, Aug. 17, 2018. Born Dec. 21, 1950, in Williamsport, he was a son of Richard Leroy and Margaret Louise Landon Klopp. Richard was a graduate of Williamsport High School and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served during the Vietnam War. He was the owner of Rick’s Service Center for over 20 years. Richard loved spending time with his family and was supportive of anything that his grandchildren were involved in. Surviving is his wife of 48 years, Sylvia (Neufer) Klopp; children, Susan (Brian) Vollman, of Muncy and Kevin (Michelle) Klopp, of Jersey Shore; grandchildren, Lauren Klopp, Brian Vollman II, Kirstin Klopp, Bryce Vollman, and Madison Klopp; great-grandchildren, Payton and Owen Pepperman; siblings, Bonita Kulzer, Nora Beck, Kimberly Barr, Jo Graham, Robert Klopp, Stephen Klopp; and numerous nieces and nephews who he loved dearly. A memorial service to honor the life of Richard will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Richard’s name may be made to the Lycoming County S.P.C.A., 2805 Reach Road, Williamsport, PA 17701.
