OBITUARY Reynold Herrington August 31, 1938 – June 16, 2018 Reynolds Clark Herrington, 79, of Moody, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 23, 2018, in Moody Cemetery, Moody, Texas. Mr. Herrington was born on August 31, 1938 to Marion Clark Herrington and Elsie Louise Miller Herrington, in Temple, Texas. He graduated from Moody High School in 1957. After college, Reynolds married Bernita Kay Durant on July 10, 1965 and they celebrated 52 years of marriage until her passing on April 26, 2018. He was the manager for United Grocery Store in Lubbock, Texas until he went to work at Wilsonart, in Temple, in 1972. He was at Wilsonart for 21 years. Reynolds also worked at Moody Bank, Walmart for 10 years, and at Eddy ISD in maintenance. He loved fishing, yardwork, listening to country music, and visiting with his family and others. Reynolds was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Bernita; and sister, Shelia Ruth Laird. Mr. Herrington is survived by sons, Joe Herrington and wife, Joann, of Moody, Doug Herrington, of Phoenix, Arizona; and grandsons, Douglas Herrington, Jr., of Phoenix, Christopher Herrington, of Phoenix, and Joseph Herrington, of Belton, Texas.
