Peggy June Gregory Knowles 1939 2018

Obituary of Peggy Knowles Peggy June (Gregory) Knowles, age 78 of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, passed away on August 22nd, 2018. She was a member of the Mt. Juliet Church of Christ. Funeral Service will be conducted Saturday, August 25th, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Bro. Wayne Miller and Bro. August Ruff officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens with family serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Southern Manor Staff and Kindred Hospice. The family will receive friends Friday, August 24th from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, August 25th from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. Peggy was born on October 10th, 1939 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Morris Gregory and Bonnie Gregory. She married her husband, Clayton Knowles on July 28th, 1962. They were married for 37 years. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by step-mother, Lora Gregory; and brother, Barry Gregory. She is survived by daughter, Sharon Knowles Drye of Cookeville, Tennessee; son, Perry Knowles (Pat) of Lebanon, Tennessee; daughter, Melanie Knowles Alexander (Darrell) of Smyrna, Tennessee; grandchildren, Kathryn Drye of Evansville, Indiana, Kevin Drye (Megan) of Wadsworth, Ohio, Peyton Knowles of Lebanon, Tennessee, Christa Alexander and Tim Alexander, both of Smyrna, Tennessee. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to Potters Childrens’ Home (2350 Nashville Rd, Bowling Green, KY 42101). Arrangements by Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet, 2229 N.
