OBITUARY Pauline Shirley Guyer March 24, 1927 – August 26, 2017 Pauline “Shirley” Guyer, 91, of Kokomo went to be with Jesus at 4:45 AM Sunday August 26, 2018 at Waterford Place Health Campus. Born March 24, 1927 in Herman, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late William Swantner and Lurah Long. On October 19, 1947, in Chili, Indiana she married Charles Guyer. He preceded her in death on May 22, 2013. She was a homemaker and a Sunday School teacher for most of her life. Her life was a testimony of love and giving to others. She exemplified this through the tireless efforts of benevolent community service along with many outreach mission trips to Haiti. Survivors include three daughters Cynthia and husband Chuck Roberts, Sandra Beals, Rosemary Guyer; one son Charles Guyer Jr and wife Sue. There are also fourteen grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. There are also several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one great granddaughter Ellie Page; one son-in-law Dennis Beals; three brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be 2:30 PM Thursday August 30, 2018 at Grace Community Four Square Church, 2020 South Goyer Road, Kokomo. Pastor Mike Rush will officiate. Burial will follow at Zion Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM Thursday at the church. Memorials may be directed to Kokomo Urban Outreach.
