REDSTONE, Pa. — Pauline Klavzar Nelson, 90, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, Aug. 18, 2018. Pauline was born in October 1927 in Redstone Township, Pa., the daughter of Josephine and John Klavzar, who were wholesale florists in Fowler, where Pauline grew up. She was a graduate of Fowler High School. Pauline was married to Donald E. Nelson, an engineer at Packard Electric, in 1962. They moved to Genesee Avenue in Warren, where they raised two children, Sandra L. Reber Jones and William L. Reber. Pauline and Don lived a happy and full life in the house they loved until Don’s death in 1999. Both were active members of First Presbyterian Church of Warren. Pauline moved to Cape Coral, Fla., in 2013, where she lived with her daughter, Sandy and son-in-law, Ray Jones. There she enjoyed reading, boating, sitting in the sunshine and playing with Mickey, a big goofy yellow lab she called “my honey dog.” Pauline is survived by her daughter, Sandy and her son-in-law, Ray; brother, Edward Klavzar and his wife, Vera; grandchildren, Heather Koerner and Michael Jones; great-grandchildren, Courtland Jones and Dylan Koerner; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both of her parents; and two sisters, Mary Klavzar Alonso and Dorothy Klavzar Gardner. Pauline will be interred in the Crown Hill Memorial Gardens in Vienna, where a service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 27, 2018. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Warren.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Pauline Nelson October 14 1927 August 18 2018 (age 90).
