Obituary for Paul Johnson Funeral Services for Paul Johnson, age 63 of Wills Point, Texas, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 30, 2018 with Bro. Ed Smith officiating. A private interment will follow at Lindale City Cemetery under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale, Texas. Paul passed away Friday, July 27, 2018 in Tyler, Texas. He was born January 7, 1955 in Elizabeth, Louisiana to the late Elbert and Vera (James) Johnson. Paul has lived the last 8 years in Wills Point, Texas where he was the Pastor of the Seven Oaks Baptist Church, and was previously from Paris, Texas, Lindale, Texas, and Pitkin, Louisiana. His true passion in life was his family and preaching the word of God which he proudly did for 40 years. Paul is preceded in death by a brother, Perry Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Connie Johnson of Wills Point, Texas; children, Bryan Johnson and wife, Shelly of Lindale, Texas, April Quillen and Husband, Cody of Rockwall, Texas, Caleb Johnson and wife, Ashlie of Arlington, Texas; sister, Vickie Farley of Oakdale, Louisiana; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will include, Jonathan Whitehurst, Trent Norman, Ryan Johnson, Brandon Means, Matt Means, and Glenn Michael. Family will receive friends between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 30, 2018 at Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale, Texas.
