Obituary for Patsy Elizabeth Ratcliff Aycock Patsy Elizabeth Ratcliff Aycock went to be with our Lord peacefully surrounded by her family and friends on August 14, 2018 after a brief illness. Patsy was a life-long resident of Laurel, born July 15, 1931. She was a 1949 graduate of George S. Gardiner High School. For many years she was administrative assistant for the Honorable Judge Charles Pickering. Patsy was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Herman L. Aycock and her parents, Kirby W. Ratcliff and Mamie L. Ratcliff. She is survived by son, David W. Aycock (Holly); granddaughter, Lesley Aycock of Lexington, SC and daughter, Leesanne Holifield (Howard) of Ellisville, grandson, Joshua Holifield (Melody) of Petal and extended family. She was a member of West Ellisville Baptist Church where she worshiped her Lord Jesus Christ. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, August 17th at Hickory Grove Cemetery. Rev. David Allen and Rev. Jerry East will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday, August 16th at Memory Chapel from 5 until 7 p.m. Pallbearers will be Tommy Segrest, III, James Key, Billy Guy, Mike Pierce, Jim Belk, Tommy Smith, and Adam Holifield.
