OBITUARY Patrick Thomas McHale April 1, 1952 – August 22, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Patrick Thomas McHale, age 66, passed away on August 22, 2018 in Jacksonville, Florida. Pat was born on April 1, 1952 in Boston, Massachusetts. He grew up in Atlantic Beach, Florida and graduated from Fletcher High School. Pat went on to serve 23 years as a police officer with the Jacksonville Sherriff’s Office. Following his service as a police officer, Pat was an extended day teacher at Greenland Pines Elementary for several years. Pat coached numerous youth league and high school football and baseball teams during his lifetime and had a passion for football, classic rock, and fishing. Pat is predeceased by his father, Gerard; mother, Mary; brother, Jerry; and sister, Flossie. He is survived by his son, Christopher (Katie) McHale; daughter, Amy (Andrew) Howell; five grandchildren; sisters, Barbara (Dennis) Walker and Theresa (Jim) Emery; brother, Gene (Michelle) McHale. Pat’s family would like to thank the Fraternal Order of Police and the Jacksonville Sherriff’s Office for their continued dedication to Pat. The funeral service will be held at 11am, Monday, August 27, 2018 at Harvest Time Sanctuary Church of God, 4502 Old Middleburg Rd. N. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.
