Obituary of Parker Thomas Parker Alan Thomas, 21, of Hopewell, passed gently into gods hands on Thursday, August 9, 2018. Born in Princeton he was a lifelong Hopewell Valley resident. Parker was a 2016 graduate of Hopewell Valley Central High School. He was an avid skier, loved nature, skateboarding, open ocean diving and was an accomplished musician. Parker was an empathic person, feeling for others at the deepest level and a champion for anyone that was bullied and fearless in their defense. He was employed by McCaffrey’s Market and enjoyed his work, the company of his peers and customers. Grandson of the late Nancy Knowles Hendrickson, Joseph James, Jr. and Shirley Thomas, nephew of the late Joseph James Thomas, III, he is survived by his parents Allen F. and Robin (Hendrickson) Thomas, his brother Alexander Thomas, maternal grandfather Alan Hendrickson, Several Aunts and Uncles Brian and Jennifer Logue, Doug and Laurie Kuhns, Joseph and Barbara Hynes, John D. and Bonnie Emery, Cousins Harrison and Brianna Logue, Samantha, Lauren and Amanda Hynes, John and Jodi Emery and several other Aunts , Uncles and Cousins that loved him. The funeral service will be held 7:00 pm on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at the Mather-Hodge Funeral Home 40 Vandeventer Avenue, Princeton. Friends may call on Thursday Evening from 5:00 pm until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Oxford House Kingston, 31 Carnegie Drive, Princeton, NJ 08540 in remembrance of Parker Thomas.
