Ozzie Caccavelli 2018

Obituary of Ozzie Caccavelli Caccavelli, 51, died Friday, August 24, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Somerville, he was the son of the late Giovanni and Vittoria Caccavelli. Ozzie was a graduate of Piscataway Vocational High School, and had worked as a mechanic for Verizon in Piscataway for many years. Growing up, Ozzie played baseball and soccer. A talented guitarist, he played in many bands, most recently he was a member of the Betty Ford Falcons. Ozzie is survived by his loving wife, Dawn (Curtis), and their son, Anthony of Edison; his siblings, Joseph (Carolyn) Caccavelli of Pittstown, Peter (Patricia) Caccavelli of Florida, Phyllis Caccavelli of Somerset, Maria (Vincenzo) Cannuscio of Williamstown, and John Caccavelli of Somerset, his mother in law, Donna Curtis of Belvidere, his sister in law, Debbie Caffiero of Asbury, his brother in law, John Curtis of Mohnton, Pa., and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 9:00 AM, Monday, August 27, 2018, at St. Francis Cabrini Church, 208 Bound Brook Ave. Piscataway, followed by a 10:00 AM Funeral Mass. Burial will follow at Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123
