Obituary of Nancy Bush Nancy L. Bush Nancy went home to be with her Savior on Tuesday afternoon, August 28, 2018, at the Iowa River Hospice House in Marshalltown, Iowa. A Private Family time of remembrance and celebration of life will be held at a later date, the Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home in Newton, are entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to the Iowa River Hospice or to a charity of your choosing, in Nancy’s name. Nancy Lee Bush, 79, was born February 14, 1939, near Tama, Iowa. She was high school graduate and held a Nurse’s Aide and Med-Aide certificates. Having been a longtime resident of the Marshalltown and Newton areas, she was employed as a nurse aide, med-aide and security guard at area nursing homes and facilities. On January 1, 1968, Nancy was united in marriage with John Alan Bush. She was a past member of the Newton and Marshalltown V.F.W. Auxiliaries and the Cornflake Cloggers. Nancy is survived by her husband John of Garwin; her two daughters and sons-in-law: Lisa and Ethan Nasalroad of Newton and Beth and Larry Short of Albion; her son and daughter-in-law David and Susan Bush of Conrad; her thirteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren; her two brothers and one sister; and many good neighbors and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister and brother in infancy.
