OBITUARY Minnie Barron October 2, 1931 – July 29, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Minnie Lee Barron, age 86 of Athens, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2018 at her residence. The funeral service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at McConnell Memorial Chapel with Youth Pastor Davy Johnson officiating. Visitation will be from 12-1:45 p.m. Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens. Ms. Barron was born October 2, 1931 in Limestone County to Edward W. Ball, Sr. and Minnie Evora Ball. Survivors include one son, Philip Barron and wife Charolett of Athens; two daughters, Jan and Joy Barron both of Athens; two grandchildren, Wendy A. Johnson and husband Davy V. Johnson of Athens; and one great-grandchild, Lawson Johnson of Athens. Pallbearers will be Wade Ball, Lance Bolton, Lawson Johnson, Mike Barron and Rick Barron.
