Obituary for Michael Scott Evans Michael Scott Evans, 54, of Owensboro, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at his home. He was born in Owensboro on January 20, 1964 to the late Claude Evans, Jr. and Mary Ann Feldpausch. Michael worked as a painter all his life, working for Bill Elliot Painting and Jagoe Homes, and later worked for himself. He was a member of Precious Blood Catholic Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding his motorcycles. Along with his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his niece, Renee Jacobs, and his brother-in-law, John Jacobs. Michael is survived by the love of his life, Tina Seaton, children: Bobby (Carly) Seaton, Danielle (Scott Jr.) Horn, Stephen Evans; 12 grandchildren, siblings: Sharon (Darrell) Brown, Susie Jacobs; and his uncle, Alton Ray (Pearline) Evans, all of Owensboro. Services will be 12:00 pm Friday, August 31, 2018, at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory, with Roger Chilton and Matthew Table officiating. Burial to follow at Mount Moriah Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Michael Scott Evans Memorial fund.
