Obituary for Michael Gonzales Michael Rey Gonzales, 30, went to be with the Lord on August 18, 2018 while surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on May 22, 1988 in Las Cruces, NM to Mary Frances and Enrique Arzabal. Michael graduated from Mayfield High School in 2006. On November 18, 2008 he married Danielle Gonzales. He earned his EMT Certification from Dona Ana Community College in 2014. Michael volunteered at the South Valley and Mesquite Fire Departments. He enjoyed BMX riding and loved fishing. He enjoyed both soccer and football and was a Denver Broncos fan. Michael was a devote Catholic. He is survived by his parents, Mary and Enrique Arzabal, wife, Danielle Gonzales, his sons, Michael Angel and Embery Alexander Gonzales. Also left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Cassandra Orduñez, Sabrina Arzabal, and Samantha Arzabal, his aunties, Eva Hernandez and Lydia Ortiz, and uncle Willie Gonzales. Michael will be reunited with his grandparents Frank and Ernestina Gonzales in Heaven. A gathering of friends and family will be held at 6 pm, Friday, August 24, 2018 at Getz Funeral Home with a Rosary to be held at 7 pm.
