OBITUARY Michael Glenn Chisholm March 8, 1953 – August 15, 2018 Michael Chisholm went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 16, 2018, surrounded by his family and friends. He fought a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born in Lake Charles and lived in Moss Bluff. He spent his younger life in Westlake and worked as a welder for Bio Lab. He was a member of Moss Bluff Bible Church. He loved his family and enjoyed the time he spent with them. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He especially loved and adored his grandchildren who knows him as “Pop”. His grandchildren are Courtney, Lexie Kate, Gretchen Richter and Redden Chisholm. Michael is survived by his loving wife; Sheilah Chisholm, sons; Casey Brent Chisholm and wife Ashley of Moss Bluff, Dustin Redden Chisholm and wife Stacey of Maplewood, daughter; Jessica Chisholm Richter and husband Justin of Moss Bluff, brothers; Roger Chisholm of Moss Bluff and Keith Chisholm of DeRidder, sister; Becky Chisholm Pendarvis and husband Henry of Carlyss and his grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles on Thursday, August 16, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Visitation will resume Friday, August 17, 2018 from 11:00 am until time of service. Funeral Service will be Friday, August 17, 2018 at 1:00 at the funeral home with Rev. Ed Rose and Rev.
