Michael B. Bailey, 55, of Okeechobee, FL (formally of Zanesville, OH) passed away on Feb. 20, 2018 at 1:32am in Crystal Lake, IL at the home of his sons after a courageous 6 month battle with cancer. He was born Oct. 7, 1962 in Columbus, OH to Beverly Brown of Zanesville, OH and John Bailey of St. Lucie West, FL. He is survived by his parents, sons John (Mary) Bailey and David (Claire) Bailey, grandson Jack Bailey, former wife Brenda Bailey, his siblings Tina (Matt) Moretti, Susie ( Todd) Dee, and Diane Stump, his nephews Shawn (Stephanie) Bailey, Donnie Moretti, niece Megan (Josiah) Beers & several nieces and nephews. Best friends Sylvia, Hank Evans, Michael Dudek and a host of family & friends whom he cherished. Preceded in death by paternal & maternal grandparents, an aunt and his beloved pets Scooter and Bart. Mike was an avid reader, fisherman, pool player and RV traveler. He was a huge fan of the Cincinnati Reds, Ohio State Buckeyes. He had a great sense of humor, a wonderful smile, was generous and always quick to lend a hand.
