Melvin Biederman, 82, of Wapakoneta, died 3:36 A.M. Sunday, August 19, 2018, at Lima Memorial Hospital. He was born November 23, 1935, in Carey, Ohio, the son of Ralph and Irene Biederman. He married Tana Doan, and she survives in Wapakoneta. He is survived by his children: Melvin (Tamara) Biederman; Ralph Biederman; Michelle (Sam) Timmons; Marvin Biederman; Mardie Biederman; Melinda Flugga; Merlin Biederman. He is also survived by his step-children: Kris (Chuck) Owens; Jim Dostal; by his 24 grandchildren including Charles Owens; Adriane Owens; Dillon Williams; John Owens; Erin Owens; 44 great-grandchildren including Cobain Owens, Lehla Owens, Case Young, Evan Young, Ellie Owens, Charlie Owens, Maverick Owens. He is survived by a brother, Dale Biederman. He is preceded in death by his parents; by a daughter, Angela Biederman; by numerous brothers and sisters. Melvin was a retired welder, truck driver and church bus driver. He was a member of Calvary Chapel Baptist Church in Minster. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding his motorcycle.
