Obituary for Maureen Flanagan (Hannon) Maureen Flanagan passed away August 14, 2018 in Sanford, NC. She was the wife of the late William Flanagan. Maureen was born December 28, 1938 in Hartford, CT, daughter of the late Michael and Bernadette (Burns) Hannon. She was graduate of Bulkeley Hugh School, Class of 1957 and St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1960. Maureen worked as a pediatric nurse in St. Francis Hospital and in hospitals in Atlanta, Georgia and Tucson, Arizona. She leaves her devoted stepdaughter Barbara LePage, of Broadway, NC, her sister and brother-in-law Nancy and John Mulcahy of Glastonbury, her sister Bernadette Kasunic of Silver Springs, MD. She also leaves her nephews and nieces William Hannon, Jr., Patricia Piscottano, Suzanne Zaremba, Ann Mulcahy and Michael Kasunic. She also leaves great nephews and nieces and several cousins. She was pre-deceased by her stepson and wife David and Dee Flanagan, her brother and sister-in-law William and Rachel Hannon and her brother-in-law Kevin Kasunic. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Church of Ss. Isadore and Maria Parish, 2577 Maint St., Glastonbury. Burial will be in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery. Donations may be made to SFHSN Scholarship Fund, St. Francis Foundation, 114 Woodland St., Hartford, CT 06105.
