Obit: Madge Barron Griffing 1924-2018 Madge “Mol” Griffing passed away after a brief illness on Monday, July 23rd in Camarillo CA. She was laid to rest with her late husband Captain Charles W. Griffing (US Navy) at the Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA Friday, July 27 2018. Madge was 94. She is survived by her 4 adult children: Ross “Barry”, Steven, Juliette and Elaine; 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. She also is survived… Read More » by three sisters, Elaine Power, JoAnne Davis, and Mary O’Neil. The Griffings were recognized as cultural pioneers in the Temecula Valley for their conception, production, and direction of the historic musical, “Temeculi Temecula”. Its cast and orchestra were selected from the community and gave back by providing scholarships through the philanthropic Rancho Music Association, also founded by the Griffings. A celebration of life service, open to all, will be held at the Temecula Methodist Church, 42690 Margarita Rd., Temecula, CA 92592 3:00 PM August 18, 2018
