Obituary for Lisa King Lisa Elaine Carter King October 25, 1960 August 9, 2018 On October 25, 1960 Eugene and Barbara welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world in Waco, Texas, whom they called Lisa Elaine. Lisa was reared with love and accepted Christ at a very early age and from that time on she walked a walk of faith. Lisa grew into a creative young woman who devoted her life to singing in the Sanctuary-Gospel Choir and the Praise Team. Lisa graduated from Richfield High School and completed her education with a degree in Fashion Merchandising from McLennan Community College, Waco, Texas. She was preceded in death by her loving father, Rev. Eugene Carter, Director of the Sickle Cell Anemia Association. Those left to cherish her memory are her children; Erica Nicole King and son Christopher Scott King and Godson, Ivan Curl. Her mother, Barbara J. Carter; sister, Carmen C. Carter; brother, Terry Carter and wife Vickie. Two aunts; Mrs. Charlie Mae Williams of Tyler Texas and Mrs. Jean Jeffrion of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
