Obituary for Lilly Gomez (Estrada) Lilly Estrada Gomez was called home by our Lord on August 18, 2018 at the age of 90. Lilly was born on August 8, 1928 to Conception and Susana Estrada in Mesilla, New Mexico. Lilly is survived by her children Ray Rodriguez and wife Linda, Charles Rodriguez and wife Terry, Jose (Butch) Rodriguez and wife Janet, Raul Rodriguez and wife Ruth, Joel Tarin and Josette Tarin. She also leaves behind 15 Grandchildren, Several Great Grandchildren and several Great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by brother Henry Estrada, Sisters Rosie Duran, Corrine Alviar, and Alicia Avalos. To all who knew her she was a strong, hard working woman who often worked two jobs to support her children and household. She took extreme pride in remembering everyone’s birthdays. During the holidays she made her biscochitos and menudo. She had recently had some health issues that were unresolved and passed suddenly and will be missed. Lilly is preceded in death by brothers Arturo Estrada, Ricardo Estrada, Sisters, Linda Estrada and Yolanda Estrada Covarrubia. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at The Basilica of San Albino Catholic Church, with a rosary beginning at 11:30 am and mass to follow at 12:00 pm.
