Obituary for LeRoy E. Potempa LeRoy E. Potempa At Rest, Saturday, August 25, 2018 at his late Minooka residence. Born in Chicago, IL the son of the late John and Ann (nee Baron) Potempa. Beloved Husband of the late Maureen Potempa; Loving Father of the late Tom (Pam) Potempa, Dawn Potempa and Ann (Shawn) Bird; Proud Papa of Paige, Peyton, Brandon, Samantha, Anthony, Gianna, Aubrey and Austin; Great Grandfather of Bella; Fond Brother in Law of Dennis (Kathleen) Murdock and Dear Uncle to many. Preceded in death by his father and mother; beloved wife, Maureen; son, Tom; two brothers, John (the late Barbara) and Jerome (Juanita) Potempa and sister, Eileen (the late Russ) Fiedler. A distinguished Veteran of the US Army, proudly serving his Country during the Vietnam War. LeRoy enjoyed fishing, The outdoors and a good game of cards. He will be fondly Missed by those who knew and loved him. Funeral Service for LeRoy E. Potempa will be Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 10:30 AM at The Maple Funeral Home located at 24300 W Ford Rd, Channahon. Interment Private.
