Lawrence “Larry” Pecoraro, Jr. Formerly of Ambridge Larry Pecoraro Jr., 66, of Longboat Key, FL, passed away July 27, 2018, after a courageous battle with cancer. Larry was raised on Kennedy Drive in Ambridge. Growing up in the 60’s, he attended Woodstock. He always had an adventurous spirit and a lust of life. He loved his long hair, rock-n-roll music and classic cars. As an entrepreneur, he moved to Sarasota and started his own painting business. He was a very successful real estate investor and had many rental properties. Additionally, he become a well-known arborist tree surgeon. He enjoyed traveling, collecting antiques and was always open to conversation with all types of people. Family was very important to Larry. He is survived by his mother Margaret Fausti; his father, Lawrence Pecoraro and Patricia; sisters, Kathy Pecoraro, Susan and Dan Turner, Lorraine and Bob Buffalini and LouAnn Powell, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Christopher Fausti, and brother-in-law, Doug Merritt. There will be no visitation. He will be laid to rest on August 6, 2018, at Resurrection Cemetery where a committal prayer service will be held at noon.
