Kimber L. Peters, age 56 of Charlevoix passed away on August 24, 2018 at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey. Kimber was born on October 5, 1961 in Wheeling, West Virginia to the late John and Patricia (Barclay) Dorgan. She has been a resident of Charlevoix for the past 22 years and has spent many of those years volunteering around the community. Kimber enjoyed spending her spare time reading and solving crossword puzzles. On July 3, 1997 in Petoskey, Kimber married John Peters who survives. She is also survivd by a brother, Daniel, sister, Becky, several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 31, 2018 at Community Church of God in Charlevoix with Reverend Neil Turner officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. on Friday until the time of services also at the church. Arrangements are being handled by the Winchester Chapel of Mortensen Funeral Homes.
