Kenneth “Ken the Doorman” Johnson, 56, of North Ridgeville, passed away at home on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 following a short illness. Ken was born December 2, 1961 in Berea and was a lifelong resident of North Ridgeville. He was a graduate of North Ridgeville High School. Ken worked for Homenik Door Co. hanging garage doors. He enjoyed camping and spending time gambling in casinos. Ken was a diehard Browns fan and loved playing baseball when he was younger. Ken is survived by his sons, Kenny Jr. and Robert; longtime companion of eighteen years Kathy Bright; one sister, Carol Wohleber; two nieces and three nephews. Ken was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Lee Ann (nee Wright) Johnson and one brother, Joey. Memorial visitation will take place on Saturday, September 1, 2018 from 5-7pm at Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd. (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve.
