She was born to Charles E. and Ethel (Hanners) Jones in Monroe County at Bloomington Hospital. She married Michael Ragan, August 29, 1977. Survivors includes, Three children, Karey Ragan Boshears, Michael Ragan, Jr. and Heidi Ragan; Michael and Kathy had Nine grandchildren, Jeremiah, Mason and Charles Boshears, Michael Ragan III, Brodey Ragan, Driftin Ragan, Ragan Davis, Elsie Davis and Jeremy Davis II; Two sisters, Veletta Frye and Charlene; 1 brother, Charles “Bubby” Jones Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother. Private graveside services and burial were held on August 2, 2018 at Simpson Chapel Cemetery in Monroe County with Donnie Campbell Officiating.
