June Ramona Schroeder 2018

June R. Schroeder, 97, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 23, 2018. She was born on June 1, 1921, in Manawa, the daughter of Ed and Etta (Peterson) Nehring. She owned and operated a dairy farm with her husband George. June was most proud of her abilities as a beautician; however, she will be fondly remembered for her seamstress work, love of crocheting, doing needle point, and crafting. June is survived by her 2 sisters: Margaret (Duane) Zehren and Pat (Pete) Theobold, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. June was preceded in death by her husband: George Schroeder; parents; an infant daughter; a son: Gary Lee Schroeder; and 6 siblings: Sally (Jim) Cihler, Norma (Marcel) Rohlinger, Hazel (Ed) Sonnleitner, Eunice (Larry) Sonnleitner, Gordis (Arnie) Dalum, and Gordon (Jean) Nehring. Funeral services will be at 4:00 pm, on Sunday, August 26, 2018, at the Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior St., Appleton. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Visitation will be on Sunday at the funeral home from 2:00 pm until the time of the service. Memorials are appreciated to the American Cancer Society.
