Obituary for Joshua Peterson August 18, 2018 Calumet Joshua Craig Peterson, 47, a resident of Calumet passed away on Saturday August 18, 2018. He was born on May 28, 1971 in Aberdeen, Washington a son to Paul and Betty (Malgren) Peterson. Josh graduated with honors from Elma High School in Elma, Washington. Josh was a very gentle, kind and compassionate soul, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone. He loved music and played the guitar and harmonica. He enjoyed reading and spent countless hours sailing on his boat. His dog Phinney was usually not too far from his side. Locally he was employed at Mt. Ripley and was a finish carpenter. Preceding him in death were his grandparents: George and Verna Peterson and Mickey and Ruth Malgren, an infant brother Nathan Peterson and uncles Roger (Mary Helen) , Donald and Roy Peterson and Kenneth (Lila) Malgren. He is survived by: His Parents: Paul & Betty “Tot” Peterson of Calumet 2 Sisters: Melanie Badgett of Elma, Washington Heidi (Tyler) Olson of Elma, Washington Nephews: Zachary Badgett and Max Olson Nieces: Taylor (Ryan) Dahlstrom and Maggie Olson Great Nephew and Niece: Landon and Audrina Aunts: Jeanette (Jon) Soper of Eagle River Cheryl (Jim) Gherna of Hancock Gloria Peterson of Wisconsin June Peterson of Ahmeek Location Uncle: Gordon (June) Peterson of Copper City Also surviving are numerous cousins and too many special friends to name.
