Jack “John” Louis Kreimer, 78, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away on August 8, 2018. Jack was born on March 6, 1940, in Cincinnati, Ohio to John and Margaret (Fritz) Kreimer, who proceded him in death. He was an Elder High School alum and graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy. Jack proudly served in the U.S.Army Reserve Medical Corp. He had a long career as a devoted pharmacist, serving customers for over 50 years, often telling them that he didn’t charge for entertainment. Jack was a devoted caregiver for numerous relatives and those associated with him. He was a talented carpenter who could make anything out of a piece of wood. He enjoyed making treasured gifts for his family. Jack also had several other hobbies, such as NASCAR racing, gardening, jewelry making, Bob Ross oil painting, ceramics, collectibles, fishing, volunteering at St.Mary’s Fish Fry and attending classc car shows with his personally carport restored 1977 Corvette. He once said that his hobby was discovering new hobbies. Jack reflected on his life recently and said he would not change a thing; he lived his life and he did it on his terms. Jack is survived by his loving daughters, Jennifer Kreimer (Michael Watkins), Lisa Seiler (Paul) Lorie Schaefer (Doug), Leslie King (Mike) and his son, Jeffery Kreimer. He is survived by a younger brother, Daniel Kreimer, and his cherished grandchildren: Kate Patterson(Bryan), Tony, Nick & Drew Seiler, Brandon, Eric & Allie Schaefer, Marissa, Ashley & Zach King, step grandchildren: Taryn (Chris) Hart, Lauren King, Zachary, Emma & William Watkins, and two great-grandchildren, Nora & Finn Patterson. Jack was proceded in death by his wife of 23 years, Lorna (Parrott) Kreimer, and a stepson, Mark (Pam) Southard. He is survived by his remaining stepchildren, Tim (Kathy) Southard, Sheryl (Joe) Schaefer, Danny (Candy) Southard, Matt (Becky) Southard and Nate Southard and numerous step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Fourth St. in Aurora, Indiana at 11:00 am. The family will greet friends from 8:00 am to 10:00 am on August 11, 2018 at Fitch Denney Funeral Home, 455 Ridge Avenue, Greendale, IN.
