John “Jack” Schultz, age 69 of Toledo, OH passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. He was born on February 15, 1949 in Toledo, OH to Clarence Adolph and Mary Ann (Lundy) Schultz. On June 14, 1969 he married Julia Elizabeth Zaker in Toledo. Jack and Julia raised 3 children and celebrated nearly 50 years of marriage. Jack was a truck driver an owner – operator for a number of years. His hobbies included collecting H.O. trains, going fishing, John Deer tractors, watching T.V. and playing games on the computer, like solitaire which was his favorite. While much of his life was spent on the road, his greatest joy always remained his family. In addition, to his wife Julia, Jack is survived by his daughter; Sarah Dyer, of Risingsun, sons; Jonathan Schultz of Toledo, Timothy Schultz of Toledo, grandchildren; Brittney Dyer of Pemberville, Cody Dyer of Risingsun, Devin Schultz of Toledo, great-grandchildren; Kaelynn and Brycen, brother; Leonard (Carol) Schultz of Toledo, Eugene Schultz of WA. John was preceded in death by his parents, brother; Sonny Schultz, sisters; Carolgene James, Margaret Henning and Donna Schultz. Family and friends will be received 2-5 p.m., Sunday, September 2, 2018 at the Marsh & Marsteller Funeral Home, 4094 State Route 105, Pemberville, OH. Funeral Services will begin at 5 p.m., with Rev.
