Jewell D. Hood, 79, of Bowling Green entered into rest Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at The Medical Center. Jewell was a native of Bowling Green and born on November 25, 1938. He was preceded in death by his, wife Betty Jean Hood, parents James and Lottie Hood, brothers James and Eddie Hood and sister Dorothy Decker. Jewell was retired from Holley Carburetor and a veteran of U. S. Air Force. Survivors include his daughters Pam Geegan (Tim) and Deana Hood (Clay Andrews) all of Bowling Green. Brother Donnie Hood (Toni) of New Port News, VA. Two precious grandchildren Travis Lowe (Shannon) and Josie Rice (Sean) and one precious great-granddaughter Ella Ruth Lowe. Memorial services will be at 11 am Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Hillvue Heights Chapel, with visitation 9 am until time of services at the Hillvue Heights Chapel. Jewell chose cremation. Arrangements have been entrusted to J. C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
