Obituary for Jean Krowka Jean I. Krowka, 89, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away at her home after a courageous battle with cancer on August 22, 2018. Jean was born in Hibbing, Minnesota. Jean moved to the Chicago area where she remained until moving to the Fort Lauderdale area in 1956. Jean and her husband then moved to Davie for many years before settling in the Savanna Club community 24 years ago. Jean was a devoted wife and mother. She loved the game of tennis and loved to fish. She had a huge infectious smile and had a warm and caring spirit. Jean will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Jean was the beloved wife for 60 years to Edmund Krowka, and loving mother to Mark and his wife Marcy, and Stephanie Krowka. Visitation will be from 2-4 pm on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Yates Funeral Home’s Port St. Lucie Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 am on Monday, August 27, 2018 at St. Lucie Catholic Church. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
