Albany, NY – Jayne Elizabeth Blessing, at Rest Friday, August 24, 2018 at Wesley Health Care Center in Saratoga Springs, NY. Born April 7, 1952 in Albany, she was a lifelong resident of the area. Jayne, “Janie” loved the outdoors, the warm sun of Spring and Summer, the beauty in the colors of fall and even a new snowfall on a winters day. She could usually be found sitting outside enjoying conversation with staff, residents, and visitors to Wesley. She made many dear friends over the years and will be greatly missed. Jayne was the daughter of the late LeRoy Blessing and Mary Huba Blessing. Mother of Natalie Pigliavento (Kane) and grandmother to Georgia Mary; sister of Barbara, Cynthia, Mary, Robert and the late David Blessing. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Our sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff at Wesley Health Care (Hathorn 3) for their love, care, and dedication to Jayne over the years. She often spoke of her love for you all. You were truly family to her. A special thank you to Tom Kirshner and his staff for their friendship and assistance to Jayne over the past years. Services for Jayne will be private at the family’s request. Donations in Jayne’s memory may be made to the Wesley Foundation, Saratoga Springs, NY.
