OBITUARY Janet S Mills February 25, 1934 – August 23, 2018 Janet Louisa (Sawyer) Mills passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 23 2018 at the Pat Roche Hospice Home in Hingham. She was born in Holbrook, Massachusetts in February, 1934, to Howard G. Sawyer and Iva Parrott Sawyer, and spent her childhood and early adulthood in East Bridgewater, Massachusetts. In 1958, Janet married John K. (Jack) Mills with whom she celebrated sixty years of marriage in 2018. Janet and Jack lived in Scituate for almost all of their married years together. She is survived by her husband Jack of Scituate, daughter Jane Napolitano and her husband Bill of Kingston, son John Mills and his wife Holly of Atlanta, and son Andy Mills and his wife Kate of Bridgewater. Janet was the proud grandmother of John Mills, Taylor Mills, Joshua Napolitano, Melissa Sternberg, Jesse Sternberg and the late Jesse Napolitano. Janet was the beloved sister of Joan Leland, Jean Strauss, Howard Sawyer, the late John Sawyer and the late Judy Dupuis. She also was loved by many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held at Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home in Scituate on Sunday, September 2, 2018 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Burial will be private.
